The ancestor house has been preserved in its original state, and is maintained by decedents of Joe Yow.

This house has seen the rise and fall of dynasties, ebb and flow of family fortunes.  It has been preserved in its original condition for Joe Yow’s decedents.   There had been various visits by the members of the extended Chau clan over the year.   It stood as testimony to the tenacity and frugal nature of the Chau clan, and of the ethnic Chinese people.
